Buffalo Japanese Company recently introduced its 17-nch FTD-G722AS2S LCD Monitor in white color. The Monitor features a SXGA 1280×1024 high resolution, speed of response 8ms, high brightness 300cd/m square & high contrast 500: 1 with wide field of vision angle (the top and bottom 160° left and right 160°). It has a built-in stereo speaker (1W×2). ECO mode function makes FTD-G722AS2S consume less power befitting it to be called energy friendly. It leads to an approx. 30% cut down of power while in operation. Complying to ROHS order the Monitor is backed by a one year warranty. TiVo Inc. recently announced a trimmed-down, less expensive version of its digital video recorder for high-definition televisions. The latest TiVo HD model has the capacity to record up to 20 hours of high-resolution TV signals. The company will ship the product during August at an expected price of $300.
