LG Electronics unveils its First DivX Certified Digital Television

divx.jpgLG proudly announces its DivX-certified Time Machine TV Series both in Plasma and LCD models. DivX-certification assures superior visual quality using much less bandwidth than regular analog devices and support for the full range of DivX video content. The latest Series DivX-certified Time Machine TV Series is currently available in Europe, China and throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

This Series comprise of three LCD models – the 47LB5RE, 42LB5RT, 37LB4RT –and two plasma models, the 50PB4RT and 42PB4RT. All the models come with much cherished watch-and-record function. Users can store up their HD content in a built-in 80 gigabyte hard disc. To keep a back-up of recorded content, the new line-up has USB 2.0 port. Besides DivX, these models also support MP3 and JPEG formats.

SanDisk’s new 8-Gigabyte Cruzer Micro USB flash drive

8-gigabyte-cruzer-micro.gifSanDisk recently unveiled its latest 8-Gigabyte Cruzer Micro with doubled storage capacity. Now users can put Twice as Many Digital Songs, Pictures and Video Clips in their Pocket with SanDisk’s compact 8-Gigabyte Cruzer Micro.

The flash drive also offers Retractable USB Connector and U3 Smart Technology. Despite its size, the Cruzer has a capacity to hold 1,600 ultra-high-resolution digital pictures, 2,000 digital songs or five hours of high-quality home video.

The LT-37LC205 LCD consumes 187W of electric power. The terrestrial BS 110 degree CS digital high-vision TV is currently available through selected dealers. GENESSA engine makes it possible to deliver movies at doubled frame rate of 120 per second. The LT-37LC205 LCD is very simple in operation. The LCD boasts of slim frame design with glossy finish.

Japan Company Alpine announced that it has postponed the sale of its upcoming TVE-T870 Monitor. The company said that it is for product development that they are again postponing the sale. This 8 type wide Monitor features 800×600 dots resolution and D2/S image input. As far as image quality is concerned, the Al Pine TVE-T870 dash Monitor delivers considerably good image quality. The price of this Monitor is not yet revealed.

S1 Digital recently announced the immediate availability of their latest Digital Cable Tuners with their Media Center solutions. The latest products are aimed at eliminating the need of cable set top box to watch and record premium high-definition TV (HDTV). This is made possible because of CableCARD. The new Digital Cable Tuners are available on the ProLine Quad Server and FX Editions, along with the Home Series’ Platinum Edition that comes equipped with two internal CableCARD slots letting customers watch and record two channels simultaneously. As far as storage is concerned, the Server Edition comes with an internal storage of up to 3.75 terabytes and the Platinum Edition2.25 terabytes; this means you can store around 250 to 450 hours of HDTV.
