Sony RHT-S10 Home Theater system

Sony gives home theater enthusiasts another reason to smile with its latest announcement that its RHT-S10 Home Theater system will hit stores from November 10th. The new model has a built in the AV amplifier and 5.1ch speaker system with thin-shaped sub woofer. Sony’s RHT-S10 loads S-Force PRO technology and requires power source AC100V to deliver frequency of 50/60Hz. The RHT-S10 also comes with AM/FM tuner with the frequency of pre-setting: 20. One home theater system package contains Instruction manual, optical digital cord/code ×1, FM wire antenna ×1 and remote control ×1 and single three electric battery ×2 for remote control. RHT-S10 consumes 85W of electric power.

Epson forges out World’s First Resin Core Bump COG Mounting Technology for Next-Generation LCD Panels

Seiko Epson Corporation, Japanese Company famous all over the globe for its electronic products and accessories recently announced that it has developed a new type of bump for mounting chips to drive next-generation LCD panels and new Chip on Glass (COG) mounting technology.

The Company will commence mass production of latest models based on the newly devised technology w.e.f. this fiscal year. The details on the new technology are to be announced at the 17th Microelectronics Symposium (MES 2007) hosted by the Japan Institute of Electronics Packaging and at the 40th International Symposium on Microelectronics hosted by the International Microelectronics and Packaging Society (IMAPS 2007).

Conventional gold bumps and COG mounting solutions has already reached its limits in terms of the connective performance needed for next-generation LCD panels, which demand high definition and high quality. Looking this Epson developed World’s first COG mounting using resin core bumps ideal for next-generation LCD panels demanding high definition and high quality. The latest technology aims at delivering smaller geometry for bump pitch, greatly enhanced reliability of connection, eliminating need for new investment or for gold plating.

Sony unveiled its small-sized HDD recorder BRX-A250 married with the network TV box BRX-NT1 to complement your Sony BRAVIA series Televisions. The BRX-A250 recorder has a built in digital hi-vision tuner. The latest models are designed to work seamlessly with the new Sony BRAVIA X7000, X5050, X5000, W5000, V5000, V3000, J5000 and J3000 series. Sony’s BRX-NT1 IPTV box comes with VOD (video on demand) function. Both devices can be operated via single remote control. BRX-A250 and BRX-NT1 meet the space demands with their compact design. The BRX-A250 allows users to record shows onto a 250GB HDD. The Sony BRX-A250 and the Network TV box BRX-NT1 are expected to ship from November 20th in Japan. There is no word regarding the price.
