Where do you watch your TV when you’re not sitting in front of your new Plasma TV from Sears? MobiTV is planning to show us more about that interactive mobile TV at the 2009 NATPE conference in Las Vegas. Together with Lionsgate they will show us the next generation of interactivity for the mobile platform.

Here’s the complete schedule:

– Demonstration: Lionsgate & MobiTV
What: Demonstration of next generation mobile television/video
technology for an enhanced interactive experience, including
‘clickable’ calls-to-action for viewers to learn more about
character back stories, show plotlines and product
information/purchase opportunities
When: January 27, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. preceding “Whose Reality is it
Anyway?”
Where: Ballroom K, Mandalay Bay Convention Center

– Insight Arena: The Future of Mobile DTV
What: Ray DeRenzo, senior vice president of product, programming and
marketing for MobiTV, will join executives from LG Electronics,
the Open Mobile Video Coalition, ION Media Networks and others
to shed light on the opportunities and revenue projections for
delivering live, local and national mobile content on next
generation mobile devices to consumers, beginning as early as
2009. Panelists will also reveal interactivity potential,
advanced features (DVR, VOD, etc.) and possible model options
for mobile DTV.
When: January 28, 2009 at 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Where: Ballroom H, Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino

So what do you think about mobile TV? I prefer regular TV if you ask me, but there are plenty of other people out there ready to contradict me.
