3D Avatar coming soon, but only to Panasonic 3D TVs

Last time I heard, Avatar in 3D wasn’t scheduled to hit Bu-Ray sometime in 2011, with an early rumor of a bundled pack.

Now I have heard that a 3D Blu-ray version will be out by Christmas, but it will exclusively available only to the owners of Panasonic’s 3D Viera plasma TVs.

I believe that the only TVs that could work for this is the TC-PVT20/25 series as well as the TC-PGT25, which was only recently announced.

I would have thought that with all the hype for 3D, the studio want want to see Avatar on any TV that is 3D compatible.
