Seeing colors is one thing but getting the right color is another. By getting the right colors on LCD screens, the aim of the 3LCD Business Center has been to accurately inform users of their projectors’ color performance and accordingly promote the disclosure of Color Light Output measurements in materials such as product catalogs and websites.

Color Light Output accurately defines the color performance of any projector in contrast to conventional brightness or light output specifications, which only measure the performance of a projector’s white light output. Color Light Output will be listed in materials to give users a more accurate picture of their projector’s performance.

With the fast-paced development of high-definition, rich color video and projection content, the quality and impact of the color produced by a projector has become extremely important.

To date, buyers and users have had no way to determine if their projector is capable of producing rich, vivid color. Color Light Output addresses this issue and provides an important picture quality indicator for classrooms, conference rooms and living rooms.
