Acer has eco-friendly LCD monitor, the V193Bwmd

Here’s an eco-friendly monitor from Acer, just in time for Earth day.

Well better late than never. The V193Bwmd is a 19-inch monitor that has an energy efficient display, and designed to consume only 18.5 watts during a normal operation. It also has 1280 x 1024 resolution, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5 millisecond response time, a 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and a 160/160 degree viewing angle. It also comes with two built-in speakers of 1W each.

You should be able to get the Acer V193Bwmd in Japan next month for about $212.
