Okay, you really don’t think that you can wire your home for 1080p and think “you’ve arrived”, do you? Good, because I knew you weren’t that gullible.
Yes, a higher-def high def is already being worked on, and it is UHD (Ultra High Definition). It takes 1920 x 1080 and has four times the resolution with 3840 x 2160. So what are we looking at here? The next new standard for home theater? Probably. But don’t expect it to be commercially available until 2020.
