Aleratec has been known to deliver CD/DVD duplicators but apparently they are now unveiling one that also destroys them. This is obviously aimed at fighting of identity theft or leaving any room for threats which are normally stored on optical media discs nowadays. The Aleratec DVD/CD Shredder is a new product that shreds Blu-ray/DVD/CD optical discs, credit cards and paper which should leave you heaving a big sigh of relief if you really want to dispose of mediums that carry important information in “bits”. The Aleratec DVD/CD Shredder will be available this December and will retail for $74.99 through Aleratec’s partners and resellers.
