Amazon Video on Demand Ready for Roku Video Player

The private beta of Amazon’s Video on Demand service is ready to go public and Roku Video Player users can start streaming rentals and video purchases straight to their TV sets. In order for you to do that, Roku will release the necessary update sometime this week. You’ll have access to over 40,000 movies and TV shows but these come without HD or surround video. The interface is similar with Netflix’s but you don’t need to access the web in order to place orders. You will be able to do all that straight from your TV. Payment is done by entering a five-digit PIN so you’ll be enjoying videos in no time.
