One of the major things all of you HD heads out there hated about Steve Job’s recent key note was probably the lack of Blu-ray announcements in fact, there were none. In lieu of this, Amex Digital has decided to take over where Mr. Jobs left off, announcing a portable Blu-ray drive targeted towards Mac owners.
The drive you see above is titled the Amex Portable Blu-ray Super Multi Drive and it does just that, plays and burns Blu-ray discs. While targted towards Macs, don’t worry PC owners, it will work for you as well. Theres no word on when this thing will be available, but we do know that you can get it in black or white for $269.99.
