[Sursa: Cybertheater] [...]

Dear friends, I bought a PG221 LCD screen 2 months ago and 2 days after i found that i have 2 dead pixels (2 BRIGHT DOTS),one on the right hand of the screen and the other in the middle of the screen. That screen cost me $600. I have contacted my reseller and they refused to change the screen so i have contacted ASUS online. I have taken photos and send them (the 2 dead pixels) for their analysis and still they done nothing, 2 month is gone and they greatest reply is “I look forward for your response with all the details to assist you”. The screen has a WARRANTY FOR ZERO BRIGHT DOTS and >5 DARK DOTS in the first 12 months and i have even register it for international warranty. When i talk about the warranty for my LCD they act like deafs. They always try to escape the situation. What i have inferred is that the DEFECTIVE DOT POLICY is only a parade to make people buy that expensive screen and at last it only ASUS that wins making extra cash. That’s why probably my retailer refuses to change the screen knowing that ASUS won’t do nothing by his experience. Please be careful when you buy your screen. I’m a student and i have worked hard to buy that screen and today i’m sad. On google you will find more information about dead pixels and about the policies for the companies that manufacture LCD’s
