The entire line of Axiom Audio’s officially labeled Version 3 (v3) speakers was upgraded recently. The exterior changes made to the speaker are the aluminum dust caps that are now made from the same material as the cones. Besides, the grille pins have been replaced with magnet grilles.

However, the in-wall products will remain with grille pins. The female grille pin in the baffle is the access point for the screws that control the swing arms to mount these products to your wall. On the performance front, upgrade includes a redesigned tweeter, most woofers and all crossovers.

Axiom confirmed that Version 3 brings some major improvements to the sound quality of every model. Though, on the Axiom’s website, the specs as well as the pricing for each speaker have not yet changed. So, watch ahead!
