Oppo has added to their Blu-ray player collection with the BDP-80. It is a lower priced version of the hardware in the BDP-83 and has BD-Live compatibility, DVD-Audio, SACD playback, but not the ABT2010 video processor. It supports Dolby True HD and DTS Master audio, and features a configurable 7.1-channel analog output for 7.1-channel, 5.1-channel, or stereo.

Setup of the BDP-80 should be easy with the Easy Setup Wizard, and has front and back USB 2.0 ports. It also has 1GB of internal storage. The BDP-80 is on sale for $289 at www.oppodigital.com.
