BenQ’s GP1 projector

BenQ has recently announced that their BenQ GP1 projector will hit store shelves this April for $599, slashing out it’s previously thought March release date.

Weighing in at 1.4 pounds, the GP1 features 100 ANSI lumens, a 2000:1 contrast ratio and a mere 858 x 600 resolution. To project the image, the GP1 uses LED technology which are said to last up to 20,000 hours, wow.

Also featured on the GP1 are composite and VGA connections along with a USB card slot and iPod docking station.

This is none too bad for a pocket projector with the only gripe being it’s $599 price.
