Blu-ray sales up 91%

To anyone who has doubts of Blu-ray‘s success, you can now lay them to rest — The Digital Entertainment Group is proud to announce that Blu-ray sales have increased 91% in the first half of 2009 over that of 2008.

Numberwise this means there has been a $407 million increase in Blu-ray sales during the same period. So folks, its become apparant, Blu-ray is here to stay. At least, until another medium becomes the industry standard.
