Buffalo USB 3.0 Blu-Ray Burner

Blu-ray burners are starting to become rampant and if you plan to get one, you would be better off getting one that offers flexibility and portability. The Buffalo BR-X1216U3 USB 3.0 Blu-ray burner offers just that, providing support for burn speeds up to 12X for single or dual layer blu-ray discs. It also comes with backward compatibility just in case you are still into the USB 2.0 connectivity. The Buffalo BR-X1216U3 USB 3.0 Blu-ray burner is currently being sold in Japan for about $449.

Holy smokes.
Fact no1 no USB 3.0 board available yet. Fact no2, no Blu-ray media can match the speeds of this monster yet.
But still, very very nice of buffalo to release this.
I’m sticking with my DIGISTOR USB Blu-Ray burner as of the moment, (this one -> http://www.digistor.com/Digistor-External-Blu-ray-Burner-USB-2-0-Tray-Load, will jump when compatible media and technology are available to the masses.
