Cablevision to Increase Rates in 2009

Word has it, Cablevision has announced that they are going to be joining the growing list of Cable providers, that includes Comcast, Charter, and Medicom, that will increase their rates in 2009. Fret not though if you also happen to have Optimum Voice and Optimum Online has the price will still stay at 90$ a month for the three services in one.

When asked to give a reason for the increase, Cablevision states that it will be used to fund their Wi-Fi initiative and other innovative products. Or perhaps some executives just want to take an early vacation?
