Cambridge Audio has announced the availability of its first BD640 Blu-ray player in early 2009. Known as world’s first Blu-ray player, it incorporates with excellent features and advanced technologies. It supports decoding Dolby Digital EX, DTS ES, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby True HD and DTS HR surround-sound.
The Cambridge Audio BD640 Blu-ray player also comes with 24fps progressive scan True Cinema to provide users with high-quality images. It can also do DVD upscaling to 1080p with ease. The BD640 Blu-ray player also supports HDMI 1.3 output, Ethernet SPDIF, Toslink and separate enthusiastic 7.1 and stereo analogue outputs.
