Cambridge Audio to launch 640BD Blu-ray Player in 2009

Cambridge Audio has announced the availability of its stylish 640BD blu-ray player in early 2009. It features full HDMI 1.3 output, as well as a full set of analog outputs.

The 640BD blu-ray player provides playback of 1080p/24fps HD and upscales DVD content to 1080p. It is expected to be available in black or silver colored casing. Additionally, it incorporates bitstream production of HD Dolby and DTS surround-sound systems.

Ethernet connection

S/PDIF and Toslink

Dedicated 7.1 and stereo analogue outputs

Full set of analog video outputs

Cambridge Audio hasn’t announced pricing for the 640BD blu-ray player.
