LSx Carvin, a name that can be trusted for high quality guitars, basses, instrument amplifiers, recording equipment, and sound reinforcement (SR) products, will introduce its Carvin LSx Series Loudspeakers at InfoComm 2008.

Carson Kiesel, President of Carvin Corporation, stated his view on the company’s new LSx Series like this, “The new LSx Series combine first-rate components, high order – low-loss crossovers for smooth, natural frequency response from the transducers, and robust construction designed to provide years of trouble-free operation. With 17 models that address a wide range of sound reinforcement applications, I’m confident musicians, DJs and sound reinforcement pros will find much to like.”

The Carvin LSx Series Loudspeakers consist of 17 models, 10 non-powered and seven powered models. All these models are added with features that are different from each other and therefore, are unique in design and performance.

Carvin’s LSx1002 is a two-way Main/Monitor loudspeaker featuring a heavy-duty 10" woofer and a Mylar 1" HF driver. It includes a 1-3/8" pole cup for mounting in conjunction with the LSx1801 subwoofer for a three-way extended low-end system.

The LSx1202 (passive) and LSx1202A (powered) loudspeaker systems are both two-way designs that employ a heavy-duty 12" woofer paired with a Titanium 1" exit (1.5" VC) HF driver. The LSx1202A incorporates two internal active bi-amped amplifiers (8# 300W / 600W LF; 50W / 100W HF) plus a three-band EQ section. A 1-3/8" pole cup is included.

Carvin’s LSx1202M (passive) and LSx1202MA (powered) two-way compact vertical monitors each employ a 12" woofer and 1" exit horn driver. This makes the speaker produce crystal clear vocal reproduction and plenty of low-end for a wide range of monitoring applications. These speakers feature a 30-degree tilt that is ideal for near-field monitoring. The LSx1202MA incorporates two internal active bi-amped amplifiers (8# 300W / 600W LF; 50W / 100W HF) plus a three-band EQ section.

Similarly, hi-tech are the other models namely LSx1502 (passive) and LSx1502A (powered), LSx1502M (passive) and LSx1502MA (powered), LSx1503 (passive) and LSx1503A (powered), LSx2153, LSx1523 (passive) and LSx1523A, Carvin’s LSx1801 (passive) and LSx1801A (powered) and LSx1802. All of these are specifically designed and therefore, the sound delivery of the LSX series of subwoofers is simply superb.

You can get the entire series of subwoofers available in the market with a price range starting from $179 to $799. While to order online just visit www.carvin.com or call 1.800.854.2235.
