CyberLink recently launched DVD Suite 6 with All-in-One Playback and Creativity Suite for High Definition Discs. The software lets the users play movies, edit videos, burn and take back-up of data, copy and authorize discs. Panasonic recently announced its latest LF-PB271JD Blu-ray Disc drive (built-in type) built on Serial ATA Interface. The Drive corresponds to Windows Vista® /Windows Vista® x64 Edition (Home Basic/ Home Premium/ Business/ Ultimate), Windows® XP (Home Edition/ Professional) and Windows® XP Professional x64 Edition. It will reach stores from November 10th. But there is no information about its price yet. For data back up Panasonic LF-PB271JD Drive comes with a bundle of software applications including CyberLink BD SolutionTM 1.0 (PowerProducerTM 4.3, PowerDirectorTM 6.5, PowerDVDTM 7.3, PowerBackupTM 2.5, Power2GoTM 5.5), DVD-MovieAlbumSE 4.5 and BD driver.

Sony Electronics today announced its second generation internal Blu-ray Disc writer drive for the computer aftermarket, which boasts 4X BD-R and 16X DVD+R recording speeds. The new BWU-200S model cuts BD-R burning time by half compared to the first generation model, allowing for a full 50GB BD-R disc to be recorded in about 45 minutes. It also features improved DVD burning speeds, making it a multi-format combo burner that eliminates the need for more than one drive in a system.
The drive comes with CyberLink BD Solution software that provides a comprehensive application for capturing, authoring, editing, burning and viewing high-definition personal content captured in the native HDV 1080i format from an HDV camcorder. In addition, the software supports recording on DVDs and CDs, as well as playback of DVDs recorded in the AVCHD format.
The BWU-200S drive can record up to 50GB of data for random access storage and backup on BD-R (write once) or BD-RE (rewritable) discs, or up to 230 minutes of high-definition HDV 1080i video on a BD-R/RE 50GB disc. It also supports recording on standard single layer 4.7GB DVD+R/+RW/RAM discs, 8.5GB DVD+R double/dual layer discs, and CDs.
The internal drive features a Serial ATA (SATA) interface and standard 5.25-inch form-factor for easy installation inside a desktop PC with Microsoft Windows XP or Windows Vista software.
The BWU-200S drive will be available directly from Sony at sonystyle.com next month for about $600. Pre-orders are now being accepted.

Panasonic displayed its DMR-BW800 HD DVD Recorder at the CEATEC JAPAN 2007. The recorder will be available from November 1st this year. LG Korea recently unveiled its Art Series LX97WH “dual” HD Format PC featuring 300 nits brightness, 2ms speed of response, higher contrast ratio of 5,000:1 and angle of visualization right and left 160 degree. It comes equipped with 320GB HDD and supports 3-D gaming capabilities. The LX97WH not only supports DVD and HD-DVD but also Blu-Ray. The PC comes in three color options including Silky Black, Snow White and Fantasy Red. LG’s latest launch is based on the A10 featuring with a Core 2 Duo CPU, an Nvidia Geforce 8 series video card. LG LX97WH Art Series PC is expected to reach stores during October at 1800000 won whereas only the A10 would cost you 1500000 won.
