LG Korea recently unveiled its Art Series LX97WH “dual” HD Format PC featuring 300 nits brightness, 2ms speed of response, higher contrast ratio of 5,000:1 and angle of visualization right and left 160 degree. It comes equipped with 320GB HDD and supports 3-D gaming capabilities. The LX97WH not only supports DVD and HD-DVD but also Blu-Ray. The PC comes in three color options including Silky Black, Snow White and Fantasy Red. LG’s latest launch is based on the A10 featuring with a Core 2 Duo CPU, an Nvidia Geforce 8 series video card. Samsung Spinpoint N2 Series World’s Highest Capacity 1.8” Hard Disk Drives for Advanced Consumer Applications

Hitachi introduced its 1 TB Deskstar and Cinemastar with a bang at the Computex, on the other hand Samsung recently brought out its 1 TB HDD with a whimper. The reason may be because the HDD is not so special. It has got 3 (three) 334 GB platters which enable that certain storage space. The new HDD is nicknamed SpinPoint F1 HD103UJ. It features 7200rpm, SATA 3.0Gbps interface and returns an average read seek time of 8.9ms. Nothing is known about the price and availability yet.

Logitech recently rolled out its LHD Series HDDs. LHD-DA160AK is priced ¥14,175. It corresponds to Ultra ATA. It features Disk rpm 7200rpm, Interface Ultra ATA/100, External size (width ## depth ## height) 102×146×26mm (at the time of horizontal ranging) and Mass 600g. It can be installed both ways Horizontality/verticality. It does not come with a cooling fan but it bears one year guarantee.
