KeyScan recently launched its keyboard/scanner combo unit KS811. A blend of standard keyboard and Sheet-Feed scanner, the PC compatible device offers a resolution of 600dpi. The Readiris OCR technology makes it more versatile.

The in-built fingerprint reader or Smart Card reader offers and image with a resolution of 508dpi. The KS811 works well with a system with 64MB RAM, 200MB free Hard Disk, USB2.0 port and a CD drive.

The device comes with Image optimization software & extraction and matching algorithm KeySDK. The price of KS811 has not been disclosed yet.

iKey, LTD recently launched industrial keyboard DT-810-TB model with an inbuilt 25mm mechanical trackball. It is the new version of DBL-810-TB model. This keyboard is waterproof and also possess ability to resist the reaction with corrosive materials.
