Samsung is putting OLED technology to good use, applying it to their new portable line of 14” laptops. But the real appealing part here is the transparent OLED screens that these new laptops will be coming out with.
Also, put into consideration that such a technology will not come cheap. That best justifies why the Samsung IceTouch will set you back for $332.00!

It’s sort of obvious in retrospect, especially from a company that so clearly depends on mobile technology, that Hulu’s master plan is to be everywhere you want to be and on whatever mobile device you prefer to use, but that was the plan as stated by Hulu CEO Jason Kilar. Kilar said:
“The computer in your pocket is very important. Mobile is a monster – we are very bullish. We will embrace any device.”
Apparently, “any device” doesn’t include the iPhone or iPod, which has been rumored to get a Hulu app since half past forever. Though the problem here may not be so much a lack of interest in the Apple devices so much as it is a desire for a sweeping, simultaneous release. Kilar again:
“We are very big believers in mobile and we don’t think about (just) one device only.”
So it’s entirely possible that Hulu wants to clear the waterfront and do it all all at once, rather than piecemeal their way by releasing one app here and one app there. Hopefully this is the case, otherwise they’re going to have a hard road ahead taking down YouTube.

I’m always a little interested in anything that lets me take my home theater with me wherever I go. I mean, there are times when you wish you could pop in a movie or catch some TV show you missed the night before or something similar. Most of those times I just bring a book along, but sometimes, it’s not the same.
Thus I’m very muchly enheartened by the announcement that SlingPlayer may be coming soon to Palm.
Yes, that essentially means you’ll be able to put SlingBox stuff onto your mobile devices, and this just makes me all sorts of happy. Dig the word:
Fierce Wireless reports that Sling Media, the company behind SlingPlayer, has announced a collaboration with Adobe to support the Flash streaming protocols for the “smooth streaming of H.264 audio and video.” This means any device supporting Flash 10.1 will be able to run the full SlingPlayer application.
Think about THAT for a minute. Sitting in the doctor’s office, waiting for your turn, you whip out your cell phone and start watching TV. Get a pair of those Glasstron viewer glasses and it’s even better. Soon enough, your home theater might well travel with you, and home–and home theater–will be, forever, where the heart is.
