Panasonic PT-F200/100 Projector Gets Gold iF Design Award 2008

Featuring a brightness of 3,000 ANSI lumen and WXGA wide-screen projection, this award-winning projector comes with a simple movable front panel. iF Design Awards were developed to encourage innovation in industrial design in 1953.

Counted as the most prestigious design awards in Europe, the iF Design Awards were announced on March 4th at the CeBIT 2008 show in Hanover Messe, Germany. This is for the first time that three projectors of a same brand were nominated for this award with two actually getting Gold Awards.

Recently, Nippon Signal Co Ltd. exhibited its new SVGA compact color projector at Exhibition Micromachine/ MEMS. Featuring a small size like a cigarette case, this projector provides a superb resolution of 800 x 600. Prior to this, Nippon Signal brought a lunch size projector, but this time it has reduced the size to about 1/8.

Apart from the size reduction, Nippon Cigarette Case-Sized Projector offers an enhanced quality of displayed images. Nippon Signal designed the optical parts like the lenses for this projector with the cooperation of an optical device manufacturer. This new projector uses the semiconductor laser for the green laser light source.

Cigarette Case-sized projector incorporates two MEMS scanners that scan the laser light beam in the horizontal and vertical directions. Nippon Cigarette Case-sized projector will soon be available in the market at a very reasonable price.

Mint V10 pocket projector Price Update

Seeing the curiosity of the consumers to know about the price of the recently released Mint V10 pocket projector, Aiptek has finally announced its price. Mint V10 pocket projector will soon be available in retail outlets nationwide from September at a price of $649.

Measuring 124 x 55 x 23mm, this new projector enables a cell phone-sized device to project a large image onto a wall. Exhibited at the Computex 2008, this new projector from Aiptek Company supports 3M’s miniature projection technology. It incorporates a built-in camera and is capable of projecting up to 50-inches.

Mint V10 pocket projector comes fitted with the built-in battery system. It supports various file formats like JPEG, ASF, AVI and MPEG-4. This compact device can display videos and photos input via a 3-in-1 AV jack on its 1GB internal memory or SD/ MMC/ MS Pro Card.
