Not too long ago it was announced that Sony’s Bravia line of TVs would be getting NetFlix streaming and now, Samsung has revealed their answer.
According to a press release, Blockbuster and Samsung will team up to offer the BlockBuster OnDemand service for Samsung HDTVs, home theater system and, of course, Blu-ray players. Samsung says that hardware manufactured in Fall of this year will begin getting the service.
Furthermore, Samsung has also let us know that their LCD / Plasma 650+ series, LED HDTV 7000+ series and certain Blu-ray players and home theater systems will be able to get the service as a firmware update.
