China to Debut HD NVD?
We have a new Blu-ray alternative coming from good old China. It’s a high definition disc format called the NVD. HD NVD players went on sale today in Wuhan. The HD NVD will bring you 12GB of storage on a red laser disc format.
Will this new device make money for China? As we speak, 80% of the world’s DVDs and players are produced in China, but the profit doesn’t go to China. These HD NVDs can increase by 4-5 times the profit. But will these NVD succeed?
