The Chrono 509 DC works on the Engineering Principle of 3-way Bass reflex system. This floorstanding model features extremely broad and linear frequency response letting the speakers to be put into use in two ways: either as full-range speakers in a dedicated stereo system or as front speakers for home theater.

Weighing 20.4 kg Chrono 509 DC uses two 7-inch aluminum cone woofers for bass and a third 7-inch cone for midrange duties. Canton’s exclusive Displacement Control (DC) technology employed in the speaker provides clear, linear bass reproduction at much lower frequencies. The Chrono 509 DC is priced $2000 per pair.
