Control4, a well known company for affordable IP-based control and entertainment systems announced that it will bring High-Definition Distributed Streaming Video to Whole-Home Automation Market by distribution of CAV-CVS12ES High-Definition Video Distribution System. The company will exhibit the latest integrated HD video distribution system during the 2007 CEDIA Expo (booth #480). It allows streaming of 12 zones of high-definition video throughout the home over a single CAT5e wire per zone. Sony’s CAV-CVS12ES features eight HD component video inputs (up to 1080p) and four composite video inputs with up-conversion for flexible device connectivity and IR and RS-232 control.
