Specs and prices for a new home automation from Crestron have recently been revealed. The device itself is called the Home Control System and will control anything from regular switches to thermostats and dimmers.

The Home Control System will start at $825 and include a PLX2 remote, PMC2 controller and P-MNETGW wireless gateway. If you’re looking to go a bit more luxurious, expect to pay $5,500 for an in-wall SlideShow-compatible touchscreen, 15 wireless light dimmers/switches, 4 audio zones, one thermostat and everything described above with the $825 model.

I’m sure some of you out there could put this to good use with your home theater, right?
