The latest news from Fountain Valley, CA is that D-Link, the popular networking solutions provider has begun shipping a new type of media player called D-Link PC-on-TV. This TV has been specially designed to enable the users to bring their entire PC experience on to their television. Best for watching popular Web-based content available on the PC from a television, this PC-on-TV is the newest member of the MediaLounge family of media players.

This new product of D-Link lets the users enjoy Internet and stream Web-based content like Google Video, Veoh Networks’ content and YouTube Videos directly from their PCs through the web pages. Users can in fact use their existing media player programs like Nero, Windows Media Player, RealPlayer and iTunes on their digital television. Users can now share virtually any movie, song or Internet video with others from the comfort of their family room, with only the click of a few buttons.”

D Link’s PC-on-TV comes incorporating 10/100 Ethernet wired and 802.11g wireless network interface, component, VGA video outputs, plugging and composite. It allows the users to control their computer through a television via a standard web browser. The PC-on-TV is available at retail outlets on a suggested price of $239.99.
