Definitive AW550 Outdoor Speakers

Definitive Technology announced that its latest AW Series AW550 Outdoor Loudspeakers featuring low-bass radiators for superior bass performance will be available in February 2008 at suggested retail prices of $399.95 per pair. The AW550 features 5-1/4-inch active driver pressure coupled to a 5-inch by 8-inch Low Bass Radiator, Gold-plated 5-way binding posts, Frequency Response 45 Hz – 30 kHz, Nominal Impedance Compatible with 4 – 8 ohm outputs, Recommended Amplification 10 – 175 Watts/channel and Sensitivity 91 dB. These all weather speakers sport racetrack shaped pressure low-bass radiators to produce more than double the bass output without compromising quality.
