DirectTV to offer a 3D TV channel: Too soon?

In celebration of DirectTV’s new satellite, the company is planning on offering the world’s very first 3D HD channel. It will have movies, sports, and, of course, all things 3D.

You will need to have a 3D capable HDTV. Don’t worry, I’m sure all the big companies will have theirs on display at CES 2010. By the way, DirectTV will also give out more info about their new 3D TV station then.
