Along with its revolutionary DarkChip 4, DLP announced its latest DLP DarkChip 4 Theater equipped with 3 chip 1080p DLP technology delivering trillions of colors combined with a native contrast ratio of 15,000:1. The Projector based on DLP HDTV features LED illumination with a native contrast beyond 100,000 to 1. There is no word on the price and availability. It can be presumed that the model will hit the markets when DarkChip 4 will appear in the year 2008.
