Eizo FlexScan LCD Monitors Turn Off in Anger When Humans Leave

We’ve seen yesterday that LCD can detect human presence via infrared and now we have a couple more LCDs that know how to turn themselves off when there’s no human present. Eizo has launched the 20-inch FlexScan EV2023W-H and the 23-inch EV2303W-T which both come with a human presence sensor. The sensor will help you live more eco-friendly and save some power while you’re not using the computer. If you leave your seat for more than 40 seconds the LCDs go dark but when you return they know it’s time to restart their activities.
