ESOTERIC’S Elegance Series Model UZ-1 provides a new video scaling technology that allows output of high definition (“HD”), signal resolutions at 720p and 1080i from your existing DVD collection without having to buy new software. Its simple operating controls and a reasonable size (3 inch height), transform the performance of your high end audio video into an easy and new approach, without sacrificing system performance.

Among its other innovations, the UZ-1 includes Esoteric’s new vertically aligned optical stability platform (“VOSP”), and disc clamp mechanism, guaranteeing that signals are read with the highest level of accuracy. What is more, all discs are read with Esoteric’s “X-3″ series horizontal sled and optical tracking assembly, eliminating the need for off axis error correction. All of this results in superior playback capability. Retails for around $5,600.00
