First 1TB 2.5 Inch SSD Created by pureSilicon

It was only a matter of time until someone created the first 1TB SSD drive and it’s a small one too. pureSilicon conceived this 2.5 inch drive and baptized it the Nitro. The amazing storage capacity was achieved by using an ultra-thin enclosure and some innovative data storage architecture. As for speeds, pureSilicon says that the Nitro will reach speeds similar to the SATA II max spped of 300MB/s. The drives will be made available to server and the military for now but laptops will probably get them at some point in the future. I don’t even want to ask how much a Nitro costs.
