French Senate Approves “Three-Strikes” Piracy Law

If you are a French file-sharer, you may have reason to worry as it seems your senate has just recenetly passed a new anti-piracy law.

Basically, this law states that French ISPs must filter pirated content, and for those caught repedeadly sharing said content will lose internet access for one year. Sounds pretty ridiculous, right? It probably is. How can the French governement possibly expect ISPs to filter out all of the internets pirate content, let alone track down and prosecute their own consumers?

Let’s wait and see how this unfolds.
