Fujitsu MBB2147 HDD

Fujitsu has recently announced its MBB2147 HDD, new enterprise class SAS drives contrived to support mission critical server and storage systems. The MBB2147 is the first hard disk drive in the latest series featuring Fujitsu’s second generation SFF 10K SAS drive. It has approx. 1471GB storage capacity at a rotational speed of 10,000RPM. It will be available in the second quarter of 2007. To reduce handling damage, the drive comes with a load/unload head ramp. It consumes 4.7 W of electric power.
