A press release has hit the web letting us know that South Korean TV maker Funai Electric will be buying their futurue stock of LCD TV panels from none other than Samsung. If you’re not familiar with Samsung (were you living under a rock?) they have become known as a high-end TV maker.

Anyways, Samsung will supply Funai with around 500,000 LCD panels of various sizes with a large perecentage of them being 32″ models.

Funai has sold close 3.47 million LCD TVs in the past financial year in the Korean Market alone. If you’re scratching your head wondering why you should care it’s because Funai’s future HDTV models will be much more up to par with other companie’s offerings.
