It was recently announced that an HDMI extender using UWB (ultra-wideband) techonolgy has hit the market.
Gefen’s UWB-Based Wireless for HDMI Extender allows users to beam and HDMI signal across the two units from up to 33 feet away. The extender also features 5.1 channel surround sound and obviously the ability to have a wirefree setup.
The UWB-based Wireless for HDMI Extender is availabe now for $999. Hey, we never said it would be cheap, did we?
