The new GefenTV Home Theater Scaler Pro Switches can now be seen at the InfoComm 2008. Designed to offer three separate functions in a single-box solution, GefenTV Home Theater Scaler Pro Switches coverts component and composite or s video inputs to the enhanced HDMI v1.3 format.

GefenTV Home Theater Scaler Pro Switches incorporate Silicon Optix’s Realta chipset that enables HQV scaling for the HDMI v1.3 format and offers support for TrueHD and DTS Master Audio. All the four video inputs of GefenTV Home Theater Scaler Pro Switches offer supplemental audio inputs and HDMI in digital TOSlink and S/PDIF audio formats.

The GefenTV Home Theater Scaler Pro will be available for shipment in the third quarter of 2008.
