Grund Audio GT-LPB-36CX SubwooferBy Paul Briggs - 06/19/2008 2:48:24 AM |

Now, check out the smallest, high-power subwoofer brought out by Grund Audio Design at InfoComm 2008 in the Las Vegas Convention Center. The GT-LPB-36CX comes with a sensitivity of 99 dB. This new subwoofer sports a linear pressure base design that utilizes a combination of LEAP, LMS and Thiele/Small parameters.
"Sound professionals have long requested a small profile subwoofer to fit under stages and take up less precious space without loss in quality or SPL", said Frank Grund, chief engineer. "Whereas, subwoofers have a single resonant point, the LPB is flat from 40-80 Hz with a tighter, more musical sound. We’re having fun winning shootouts with competitive boxes over twice the size."
The GT-LPB-36CX Subwoofer features 13-ply Baltic-birch cabinet that incorporates dado and rabbet construction. This whole unit is at present available in 4 amazing finishes; white, black, exclusive natural finish and black with rugged Tour Coat, two part, epoxy finish.
