HBO on Demand HD To Be Launched by Comcast

With the much anticipated transition to HD viewing in the air, Comcast has landed a big one, being the first cable operator to transmit HBO on Demand HD. HBO is a familiar brand in the TV viewing industry and watched by the world. And now, they continue to hold on to that tradition, providing their new HD service which should draw cheers from all cable subscribers.

As one of the first video providers to offer HD and VOD services, Comcast is continuously expanding its library of offerings. This initiative with HBO and all of the choices available On Demand are part of Project Infinity, the company’s commitment to innovation and the delivery of exponentially more quality content on TV, including more HD.
