HDD Media Player 2 from Thanko

The device in the picture is Thanko’s HDD Media Player 2. It will let you play media files straight from a HDD on your TV. The 3.5-inch SATA HDD will be compatible to AVI, DivX, VOB, MPG, MP3 and JPEG files. It will be compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista and Mac. The HDD must be acquired separately while the main unit will cost only $75. The Media Player 2 is available already and it might be just the solution you were waiting for.
