Hitachi 32 inch IPS α display

It seems that Hitachi’s latest technology will leave other displays behind. Hitachi Japan announced that it is developing 32 type IPS liquid crystal panels for the full hi-vision television. These panels will feature 1920 (horizontality) ×1080 (IPS liquid crystal panel vertical) resolution, vision angle of up and down left and right 178 degrees, 120Hz frequency, size 80cm (32 types, 698mm×392mm), pixel pitch 0.36375 (Horizontality) ×0.36375 (verticality) mm, color number 16,777,216, brightness 500cd/m2, and weight 7.2 kgs. The panel consumes 105 W of electric power. The company will commence its mass production next year.
