HP Releases Companion Projector For Around $500

Everyone’s favorite printer maker Hewlett-Packard has come forth today to announce that they are launching their Companion Projector. While this projector won’t be displaying any 1080p content as it only has an SVGA resolution of 858 x 600, it’s a perfect alternative for those who need a quick projector set up either for a budget home theater or a presentation.

Additionally, the Companion Projector features 100 ANSI lumens, an 800:1 contrast ratio and just a single VGA port.

HP says the projector is available now for around $500 which doesn’t seem like a steal to me considering its crippled specs.
