Hulu, the video streaming site, just got a new high-profile partner last week with the announcement that Disney movies and TV shows would be available. This is a boost for Hulu who find themselves in an ongoing race with YouTube to sign up new content partners. Initially, look for older Disney movies to appear on Hulu.

This deal will also cover TV shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Lost and Wizards of Waverly Place, which will arrive on Hulu after their initial broadcast runs. YouTube also has some Disney content, including ABC shows and ESPN, suggesting that the studio may not want all its eggs in one basket.
