IBM patents Twitter utilizing TV remote

Now here’s an idea — A recent patent filing by IBM has put on display a TV remote that has the ability to update Twitter. That’s right, if this remote ever enters production you will be able to send Twitter updates about what TV shows you are watching straight from your remote

For you Twitter haters out there, the patent also lets us know that the remote will be able to send updates about your viewing habits to blogs, as well.
